We are experiencing a new industrial revolution directed towards digitized creation processes and tailor-made production. With digital manufacturing, designs are generated by means of a computer, which are later transformed into real objects with the help of subtractive or additive manufacturing technologies. 3D printers are increasingly accesible and can revolutionize the mechanisms of production, consumption and trade. In digital manufacturing, user-tailored design changes the perspectives of freight transport, warehousing, and large-scale manufacturing.
In this course, the participant will learn to prepare files in STL format, to configure 3D printing parameters and to use FDM and SLA additive manufacturing technologies.
